About the instructors: Jethro & Kristy Nolen have been improvising together for nearly thirty years. Their experience includes learning, performing, coaching and teaching in Chicago (IO, Second City, Noble Fool), Amsterdam (Boom Chicago), and Los Angeles (IO West, Furious Theater). Until recently, they lived in Pittsburgh where they were co-founders of Arcade Comedy Theater. They have studied with improv luminaries like Del Close, Mick Napier, Susan Messing and Gary Austin. Their long-running improv show “Dinner With The Nolens” was voted ‘Best of the Burgh’ by Pittsburgh Magazine. They have also performed and taught at numerous festivals throughout the US.

Recently relocated to the greater Detroit area, they teach, coach and perform at Planet Ant, Go Comedy and Civic Improv.
