Games are all about fun. Even when your scene has no host explaining the rules there’s still a game being played. This workshop explores different ways to identify, create, and find multiple games for your scenes. Learn ways to heighten, explore, and expand your game through relationship, environment, and emotion.

 About the Instructor

Adam Cawley is an accomplished comedian, actor, and writer, and an alumnus of the world-renowned Second City Mainstage, the Just for Laughs Festival, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. A three-time Canadian Comedy Award winner, he was named Best Male Improviser in the country, solidifying his place as one of Canada's top comedic talents. On screen, Adam has appeared on major network and streaming series including St. Denis Medical (NBC), Ghosts (CBS), MayDay (Discovery+), Baroness Von Sketch Show (IFC), and Workin' Moms (Netflix). He's also brought his comedic talents to national audiences through sketch performances for The NFL on FOX. As a writer, Adam contributed to the International Emmy Award-nominated Workin' Moms (Netflix), George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, and currently writes for Because News on CBC. His award-winning podcast, The Backline, recognized as Canada's Best Educational Series, takes him across the globe teaching and performing improv comedy.
